Why This Exists
I created PNW Stewards as a way to share the knowledge, resources, and opportunities I’ve discovered through my time working in the environmental field and spending time outdoors.
My goal with this website is to create something that can act as a compass for others — a place where people can explore environmental opportunities, learn about native and invasive plants in their region, and find resources that help them connect more deeply with their communities and the environment around them.
I care deeply about the landscapes and communities of the Pacific Northwest, and I hope this site encourages more people to get involved in protecting, restoring, and appreciating the places they live. Whether you are simply curious, looking for ways to volunteer, or interested in pursuing environmental work yourself, I hope you find something here that helps guide or inspire you.
